Meet the Team

Nikki Ross ‘The Boss’: Always on the go – Nikki’s vibrant character means she brings energy and fun into everything she gets involved with. Nikki thrives on fast paced activities, loves developing her camera techniques and her friendly, relaxed approach means she always brings out the best in people. Although she is the business owner and director, she likes to think of herself as an equal to her colleagues and loves working with freelance members when opportunities arise.
A true professional, who enjoys meeting new people and getting creative as often as she can.

Sophie ‘Miss Stylish’: A highly skilled and passionate designer; who loves getting involved with projects that are fun and creative. Sophie first became involved with Oddsox in 2012 when she worked with us as a production assistant via the GoWales scheme. Since then she has developed her own successful business making luxury antique carpet and leather bags. However, Sophie still continues to freelance for Oddsox as a production/camera assistant due to her interest in film production. She also brings her amazingly creative ideas to any design elements needed for a project; such as graphics, artwork and marketing materials.

Matt ‘Mr Techie’: Matt is the youngest member of the freelance team, yet brings a number of key skills to the mix. He is the team’s technical assistant; always keen to help and find a solution to any problem. He has various safety and security qualifications and is a trained first aider with experience in first response. His calm, placid approach especially in challenging situations balances well with the girl’s pacey natures.  He has also recently trained as a UAS crew member for Oddsox and will be assisting on the majority of aerial projects.

Katie ‘Miss Ink-slinger’: Katie is a wordsmith (a copywriter really) and journalist who has worked across the film, fashion and music industries since graduating with a film degree. Some say she is straight to the point and passionate about the creative industries so working with Oddsox was a no-brainer. Beavering away on the social media part of things, writing snappy content for the website and anything else the head honcho needs – Katie feels right at home!
